God is With You

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for reading the youth blog today and I’m glad I get the privilege to write to all of you! So, this week God has really pressed on my heart in an incredible way in the way He shows His love for us. Often though I find it easy to push away God’s love for me, either believing I’m not good enough or that I must work to obtain that love again. But again, and again God has opened my eyes to His love and grace. He’s showed me that no matter where I am His love follows me. No matter what I’ve done, how many times I have ignored Him this week, or any other way I’ve failed Him, He simply loves me. With an unconditional and indescribable grace, He stays right by my side through it all and sees me as His child. As in the story Jesus told of the prodigal son, He is hopefully waiting for me to turn back to Him. Not trying to make me feel ashamed or guilty, but wanting me to feel loved and encouraged by Him.

So, I just wanted to share that today with everyone, that no matter how far we can feel from God, He never leaves our side as he tells us in Deuteronomy, “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” There is no place we can go where God does not go right beside us. He waits expectantly just hoping to be a part of our lives. With such grace for us that no one can fully understand, we can find joy in Him through all things. He is our God, our shepherd, our peace, no matter the situation. I pray we all come to see and know His love for us more and more each day.
